Euromaidan and Ukraine revolution 2014. Freedom is never free.

The revolution that erupted last year in Ukraine ended in February 2014 with the ousting of former president Viktor Yanukovych, who was accused of rampant and multibillion corruption and of doing the Kremlin’s bidding. Yanukovich gave order to government forces to shoot Euromaidan protesters and nearly a hundred of unarmed protesters was killed on 18-20 February 2014. Still, most of Ukrainian police and spec ops refused to obey such an order and Yanukovich's plan failed. He fled to Russia and begged his master, Russian president, Vladimir Putin for military intervention.

Russia invaded in Crimea and annexed it from Ukraine in March. Thousands of Ukrainian people have died in a military conflict that ensued after the annexation and invasion of Russian regular armed forces and pro-Russian terrorist groups in the Ukraine’s east regions.
