I don t know if that s her husband or not, but if it is, he s pretty proud of his wife, Grieve said. It saved him getting drilled by the ball.
Chris was proud. You can see in the video that he gave Deana a high five.
So was the kid behind them. Chris said the kid leaned forward and said something like Thank God you caught that ball. It was going to hit me in the face.
Chris said he and his wife would switch each inning, one of them holding the binoculars and the other would wear the glove.
You bring your glove and you hope for a ball, Grieve said. But that exceeds your wildest expectations.
But it was Deana s reaction that really caught the attention of the Rangers TV announcers.
Laughter She can t believe it, Grieve chuckled.
Is that surprise Shawn Tolleson Jersey, or is that happiness, Busby asked.
Chris said Deana didn t even know she caught the ball.
She had to check the glove and make sure, said Chris.
Her reaction is worth the price of admission, said Busby.
